  • I know this thread is old. But I was wondering how do you get a hex based grid to work on game maker? I was trying to make something along the lines of Civ. Thank you


  • Why did you use timeline? You could have simply used finite state machines to the parent and could have added a floating state.


  • Hey, i like your tutorials, just a bit of advice to make it easier to follow along;
    please finish one idea at a time. You jump back and forth between setting up your state machine and working out your character animation. It would be much easier to follow if you started and completed one, and then moved on to the next. As is its easy for the viewer to get lost flipping back and forth.
